In The Stepford Wives (1975), Stepford proclaims itself to be "the most liberal town." Sound familiar? Here are some interesting screen grabs from the film. Some argue the movie is just a veiled programming guide. All the MK-Ultra symbols. The mirrors, the eyes (a reference for the the all-seeing Egyptian Horus, also known as the third eye: "Horus can see the invisible, that is, predict the future and thus anticipate every movement of his opponent."), the alters, mind control, voice recognition. A biotech town. Transhumanism as "just another stage." Masculinity as cabal. "Nothing to it." Despite the left, the right, and everyone in between's mounting resentment of feminism, which is to say biological women, there would be no need for it if men--and more generally people--had ethics. As Sontag once wrote: "Truth has need of all kinds of exertion."
