When Trump did his interview with Joe Rogan back in October 2024, while running for re-election, he talked at length about the CA "water problem." And people mocked him for it, dismissing it despite CA’s long history of fires and so-called water shortages (see the Chinatown conspiracy, a film that came out in 1974), and its supposed obsession with climate emergency and climate control—the Green New Deal. But letting cities and forests burn down is OK? I definitely took note of Trump’s warnings about California's corrupt restrictive water policies at the time. Climate change is not the problem, corruption and incompetence are the problem. And always have been.
