Rebuttal by Mike King

“Make it stop, Mr. President! Please! It's too much winning! These once unthinkable back-to-back-to back headline stories about the gutting of the EPA, Education Department, and the IRS demonstrate that the good news of the Q Operation's war on the tyrannical bureaucracy -- (including its IRS funding mechanism!) -- has now spilled over into the ‘mainstream.’ People are noticing and people are talking about it as if it's ‘normal’ —which is exactly what we want! As a matter of fact, upon informing my long-time accountant that I wanted a 6-month extension (no reason given) on payment, my Arab-American friend intuitively replied: ‘Do you think Trump is going to shut down the IRS?’ . It turns out, several other clients of his had also, for the first time ever, started asking for extensions! He went on to say that he has been having problems contacting the IRS because they are short-handed all of a sudden. How delightful it was to have this first-hand ‘real world’ confirmation of developments which I have been writing about without tangibly seeing. By the way, because Mr. C.P.A. is approaching retirement anyway, he too is hoping for the death of the IRS —not so sure about his accountant peers though!

Equally promising here is the measured and relatively neutral tone of the various articles appearing in ‘the paper of record’ and the broader ‘mainstream’ press as well.Yes, there are the obligatory ‘street cred’ libtarded ‘expert’ opinions of ‘concern’ from this or that ‘environmentalist’ or ‘educator’ or ‘economist.’ But conspicuously absent (at least for my astute ears) from the news coverage is the sort of unhinged, ‘the sky is falling’ hysteria heard in years past whenever a Republican't would ever-so-meekly suggest a teeny-tiny reduction in only the rate of growth in Federal spending. Not today. Why? Because the harnessed press is clearly operating under COG (Continuity of Government) directives. That's why! . We here, the ‘Editorial Board’ of The Anti-New York Times, are not in the business of dispensing financial advice -- but if you will be ‘owing’ Federal taxes this April, an extension filed in the hopes of an imminent shut down may be something to consider, especially when the late penalty is only 0.5% of money ‘owed’ (per month). Consult your accountant, but know that most of them will be biased on this question, especially if their own lucrative careers are about to be adversely impacted.”

*This is yet another thing some people I was close to treated me like I was crazy for talking about 3 years ago, when I said these things were coming. IRS would be abolished. Debt would be wiped. Wealth transfer was coming. Maybe people will be less irate and incredulous when they get the money back that was stolen from them and no longer have to file or pay taxes every year? But I’m not holding my breath for an apology. The line is long.
