Hollywood crumbles.

These people (actors) were never real to begin with—or haven’t been for a long time. Which makes them easy to simulate and replace. We’ve stopped expecting anyone or anything to be real, that’s the other problem. No real standards, no demand for truth, no deep love for humans. Fakery all around. We’re lazy and clueless. “We believe the illusions to the point we want to defend the illusions. To the point we want to defend the very prison cell we want to break free from." (Kerry K.)

But some people are really getting it. Though they are not the people you would expect.

David Bowie, in the 1970s, on Los Angeles/Hollywood: “It’s a fabrication.”

(I love that he says that in “real” cities—he does not mention New York—like Detroit “real people are trying to energetically survive.” I have always loved New Mexico too).
