I may never have another gig either. I’m with her and feel exactly the same way. It’s always interesting to see who the few brave, smart people on the former Left are. It’s never who you expect. In Hollywood and the arts, it’s almost no one. As a Danish male friend in graduate school once said about me, “You can't fake a thing and you're allergic to inauthenticity.” There’s nothing I respect more than courage, strength, valor, and people who do the right thing. No. Matter. What. One day I will be flanked by people like this.
