Spy talk (M16 and CIA) is noir talk and noir talk is betrayal talk.
I never found not trusting someone (a lover) “exciting,” or a turn on. The opposite: a nightmare. Only in a betrayal economy/matrix, where betrayal is glamorized, normalized, and eroticized, is it more “exciting” not to be able to trust people.
