NY Times Headline: “Trump Is Said to Be Preparing Order That Aims to Eliminate Education Dept.”

President Trump is preparing to sign an order that would instruct Education Secretary Linda McMahon to begin dismantling her agency:

“No president and Congress in modern history has ever successfully shut down a Federal Department -- which is why we must remain under this military occupation government until the Great Counterrevolution is completed. It now seems that the first agency to be dismantled may be the Department of Education. Whether or not White Hat Productions scripts this as a rigged battle between the under-submission Demonrats and Commander Trump, or a quick and easy death blow doesn't change the fact that this wicked and wasteful entity is finished.

Mr. Trump has been blunt about his desire to do away with the department entirely. He remarked recently that he hoped Ms. McMahon would effectively put herself out of a job. He told reporters last month that the Education Department was ‘a big con job’ and that ‘I’d like to close it immediately.’ Ms. McMahon’s first action as education secretary was to email the department’s staff about its ‘final mission,’ an indication of how she planned to fulfill Mr. Trump’s goal of shuttering the department.
