I love Dorre's rant about the pro-mandate Chomsky being so irrationally afraid he won't even get a haircut. What a fool. We need our intellectuals to be resilient and sturdy, instead they're the opposite. I've been saying from day one that people sell themselves and others out when they let fear rule their lives and govern their decisions. Now is the time to be unafraid. To be brave and clear headed. To wrestle honestly with our fears. To face them. We are not and have never been immortal. That should always be our baseline. It will give us the will and strength to truly live.
